About Dr. K. Leo Uyeda
 

Dr. K. Leo Uyeda has been providing exceptional eye care as a Doctor of Optometry since 1981, bringing decades of experience, clinical expertise, and a patient-centered approach to his practice. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal vision and eye health through personalized care and the latest advancements in optometry.
Dr. Uyeda earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, where he built a strong foundation in the life sciences that continues to inform his clinical work today.
Throughout his career, Dr. Uyeda has remained actively involved in the professional community. He is a member of the American Optometric Society and the California Optometric Society, and he previously served as President of the Rio Hondo Optometric Society. His commitment to service extends beyond his profession—he is an active member of the Buena Park Noon Lions Club and supports the Lions Eye Foundation, organizations dedicated to vision care and community outreach.
In addition, Dr. Uyeda is affiliated with NVision as a LASIK co-management provider, allowing him to guide patients through advanced vision correction options with trusted surgical partners.
With a longstanding commitment to excellence, compassion, and community service, Dr. Uyeda continues to provide trusted, high-quality eye care to generations of patients.
